Columnar Blue Lawson Cypress

Chamaecyparis lawsoniana Columnaris Glauca, also known as the Columnar Blue Lawson Cypress, was bred in the Netherlands in the 1940s. This evergreen tree is most comfortable on free-draining light land and is not susceptible to waterlogging, making it an ideal choice for a variety of garden settings. It requires very little maintenance, thriving best in full sun to partial shade with at least six hours of direct sunlight daily to maintain its health and vibrant blue-tinged foliage, which is especially beautiful in the spring.

Once established, the Columnar Blue Lawson Cypress is resistant to drought; however, it benefits from regular watering during dry periods. Adequate drainage is essential to prevent waterlogging, ensuring the tree stays healthy.
