Product details

With a leaf akin to Stella or Worplesdon, the shape of this tree is Liquidambar’s equivalent of Cupressus sempervirens!

Extremely columnar, it develops a ratio of height to width of 5 to 1.

This American introduction also has good autumn colour with leaves turning yellow, orange and red before leaf fall.

Thriving on most free draining soils this narrow form is ideal for small gardens or restricted streets.

Autumn colour is more reliable on acid soils and like many clones of Liquidambar styraciflua, its bark is smooth when young unlike its parent.

Mature height: 7-12m
