Product details

The Tamarisk is so evocative of old fashioned Mediterranean fishing villages.

Introduced way back in 1821 this won the Award of Garden Merit in 2002.

Although primarily thought of as a coastal plant it can make a fine garden tree inland so long as it is not planted on shallow chalk.

We offer this as a small standard tree with a rounded crown.

Its light pink flowers are freely produced in May / June. A tough subject which does well in light sandy soils.

Is very good for coastal locations and is also tolerant of exposed windy sites.

Mature height: 5-10m
