Rowan Rossica Major, Mountain Ash Rossica Major
Sorbus aucuparia Rossica MajorAbout this product
Sorbus aucuparia Rossica Major, or Rossica Major Rowan, is a uniform version of seedling Sorbus aucuparia that is very similar to its parent apart from its more regular growing habit.
White flowers are produced in the spring and develop into clusters of red berries by late summer.
This native tree is a great tree for wildlife and a good choice for a garden or parkland, requiring little maintenance.
Sorbus aucuparia Rossica Major thrives on most free-draining soils but prefers to be away from the glare of reflected heat and light.
Green leaves turn to yellow before they fall in the autumn.
If you live in an area prone to rabbits or deer, then we recommend rabbit guards for these trees.
Mature Height: 7-12m
