Product details

This well known variety is also known as Decaisneana and won the Award of Garden Merit in 2002. In our opinion this clone is synonymous to ‘Magnifica’ for its overall effect and thrives on most soils including chalky ones. A tree of medium height with a broad dense conical crown it is of symmetrical form. It has notably large leaves and fruits and is a splendid choice for parks streets gardens and avenues. For further Whitebeam types refer to Sorbus latifolia and intermedia. If you live in an area prone to rabbits or deer then we recommend rabbit guards for these trees. Mature height: 7-12m
