Product details

Pyrus communis Beech Hill, known as Beech Hill Pear, is a cultivar of common pear that has a very ascending habit until its heavy crop of small hard pears weighs it down in the autumn.

Pretty white spring flower and good autumn leaf colour make this a nice garden tree if you are prepared to mop up the inedible fruit each year.

Pyrus communis Beech Hill thrives best on free draining heavy soils with good nutritional content.

It is a great tree for supporting birds and wildlife within a garden.

If you live in an area prone to rabbits or deer then we recommend rabbit guards for these trees.

Mature Height: 7-12m
