Malus Laxton SuperbAbout this product
This late-fruiting apple variety is known for its sweet taste and is an old English original dating back to 1897. Developed by the renowned Laxton brothers in Bedford, it is a cross between Malus Cox’s Orange Pippin and Malus Wyken Pippin.
Lovely pink-tinged white apple blossom in the spring gives way to young fruits swelling to maturity by October.
Malus Laxton Superb prefers heavier soil and can tolerate a degree of being wet.
Keeping the ground free of grass within a two-metre radius around its trunk is always best to promote fruit size.
If you live in an area prone to rabbits or deer, we recommend installing rabbit guards on trees.
Mature height: 3-7m
