Laxton Superb
Malus Laxton SuperbAbout this product
This late fruiting sweet tasting eater is an old English original dating back to 1897. Developed by the famous Victorian Laxton brothers in Bedford it is a cross between Malus Cox’s Orange Pippin and Malus Wyken Pippin.
Lovely pink tinged white apple blossom in the spring gives way to young fruits swelling to maturity by October.
Like all Malus Laxton Superb prefers a heavier soil and can tolerate a degree of being wet.
It is always best to keep the ground free of grass within a two metre radius around its trunk to promote fruit size.
If you live in an area prone to rabbits or deer then we recommend rabbit guards for these trees.
Mature height 3-7m
