Known commonly as Chinese Redbud, this hardy plant is fine on free draining soils but is not recommended in exposed areas.
Dark pink buds litter the branch and stem network in the late spring to erupt into flower by May.
Cercis Chinensis Avondale certainly is a show stopper and great for south facing gardens.
Best as a half standard to show off the superb floral display.
