Product details

Zelkova serrata Greenvase, known as Keyaki, is an American clone of Zelkova serrata that was introduced into the UK in the 1860s from its native Japan.

It is considered a better form than its parent but like most children it pretty much looks like its forebears in the end!

Fine green leaves emerge in the spring and these turn gold, orange and sometimes red in the autumn before leaf fall.

Zelkova serrata Greenvase thrives on most free draining soils and will grow too big for most gardens to accommodate so is best planted in parkland or larger municipal areas.

Mature height: 12-17m
