About this product

A Canadian hybrid, it has only recently begun being grown commercially in Europe and so this variety will not be one commonly seen across the UK. A large tree with a uniform ovate crown, rounding a little as the tree matures. It is an excellent choice for an avenue. Profuse, fragrant, tiny yellowish flowers arrive in summer and are a favourite with pollinators, turning into small yellow-brown balled ‘fruits’ accompanied by light green bracts. This cultivar is a strong and tough grower suitable for most soil types.
