Product details

Tilia cordata, known as Small Leaved Lime, is a majestic UK native that is great for avenues or parkland planting and also a good host for mistletoe.

Lime is a particularly versatile tree, tolerating pollarding and even being confined to a pleached frame.

It grows readily on light or heavy soils and will put up with temporarily soaking ground.

Abundant green glossy leaves turn a clear yellow in the autumn before leaf fall.

Creamy white flowers are produced in July, and being native,

Tilia cordata is well adapted to support a huge range of wildlife.

Mature height: 20m+
