Pyrus calleryana Chanticleer pleached

For those of you where space is at a premium but privacy screening is a necessity, this is the tree for you!

Pyrus calleryana Chanticleer pleach medium has a 1.8 metre clear stem and then a flat pleached frame of 1.2 metres wide by 1 metre high, instant have a 1.8m clear stem with a frame 2m square. 

It can be routinely pruned every spring to form a green window above fence height which takes no width away from a small garden space, Pyrus calleryana Chanticleer pleach will thrive on most free draining soils but does not like waterlogged ones.

It holds onto its leaf for a long time, sometimes from April through to December, before its glossy green foliage turns yellow through to orange and even red.

With it perking up early in March with lovely white flowers this tree is a great value screening option.
