Product details
This dainty Japanese Cherry introduced very early in the 1900s is also known as Shôgetsu.
It is remarkably pretty in flower and in my opinion the most attractive flowering cherry on the market although Prunus Shirofugen comes a close second!
A First Class Certificate winner in 1989 it also won the Award of Garden Merit.
A small tree with a broad rounded habit this is one of the most outstanding Japanese Cherries and one we strongly recommend for verges parks and gardens.
The pink buds open to reveal large white petals sharply toothed at the fringe which clothe the branches in long stalked clusters.
Mature height: 5-10m
