About this product

The Damson Tree, scientifically known as Prunus domestica Hauszwetsche, produces small, dark blue/black fruits like typical damsons and green flesh. Juicy and sweet, this is a great tree for a small garden. In the spring, its rounded crown carries an abundance of white flowers, and its green foliage turns to yellow in the autumn.

Damson Tree thrives on most free-draining soils. Its fruit size and taste are enhanced by keeping weed and lawn competition away from its base.

Little but regular winter pruning keeps the tree in shape without sacrificing the next summer’s fruit crop.

As with all edible fruiting trees, there is no VAT on the purchase, making it a good value!

Mature height: 3-8m
