Product details

PLEASE NOTE: 2.0-2.5m specimens are supplied in 100L containers.

Pinus wallichiana, known as Bhutan Pine, is also referred to as Pinus griffithii.

It has soft long needles that make you want to touch its foliage whenever you walk by one and it forms into a very elegant pyramidal specimen tree at maturity.

Introduced from the Himalayas in the 1820s, this lovely evergreen has a slightly bluish tinge to its canopy with new candles of growth emerging in May.

Pinus wallichiana thrives on most free draining soils and is a great choice for parkland or large gardens.

Mature Height: 12-17m
