Morus alba fruitlessOut of stock
Our new stock is growing! New stock will be available 1st September 2025.About this product
This male clone forms a rounded shape at maturity, and its glossy leaves exude health and vigour.
Morus fruit can stain hard surfaces, such as York Stone, so choosing a fruitless version has its merits!
Morus alba fruitless, or Fruitless Mulberry, thrives on most free-draining soils and, once established, can easily tolerate dry summers.
The lustrous green leaves of Morus alba Fruitless turn to yellow in the autumn before falling by the end of October through to mid-November.
We have seen this tree grow well within sight of the coast, so it is a tough tree that can withstand salt-laden winds.
It also reacts strongly when winter pruned if you want to keep to a compact shape for a smaller garden.
Mature height: 3-7m
