Product details

A tried and tested performer raised by the late Donald Wyman at the Arnold Arboretum in the USA. Satisfactorily resistant to both apple scab and mildew it develops a rounded habit at maturity and is ideal for parks and gardens.

The spring flower is red to pink in bud opening to white when in full glory. The fruit matures to a glossy vivid red and can be profuse so it is best to plant away from paved areas to avoid cleaning up. The leaves are dark green by summer.

If you live in an area prone to rabbits or deer then we recommend rabbit guards for these trees.

Mature height: 3-7m
