An upright growing tree when young, broadening as it matures, this cultivar was first named in the 1960’s.
Fragrant tulip-like flowers are white and blushed with pink at the base which profusely cover the tree in spring. Viewed en masse the overall appearance is of a light pink flower.
Grows well in full sun or partial shade. Should be planted in a well-drained soil with a preference for some acidity.
