Magnolia x loebneri Leonard Messel, also referred to as Leonard Messel Magnolia, presents a stunning option as a multi-stemmed tree in compact garden spaces.

Velvety-encased buds begin to unfurl from January onward, heralding the arrival of a spectacular show of delicately pink-tinged flowers in April/May. Following this floral extravaganza, fresh green foliage emerges, transitioning to a vibrant yellow hue in autumn.

This variety of Magnolia thrives in well-drained soil, preferably in a sheltered sunny location. It demonstrates good tolerance to lime in the soil.
