Natchez Crape Myrtle
Lagerstroemia indica NatchezOut of stock
Our new stock is growing! New stock will be available 1st September 2025.About this product
The National Arboretum in Washington, USA, developed this plant for its resistance to mildew and exquisite white floral display. Its clonal name pays tribute to a North American Indigenous tribe. This remarkable garden plant thrives in full sunlight and prefers well-drained, moisture-retentive soils. It offers an abundance of flowers, interesting stem texture, and vibrant autumn colours that range from gold to red.
As with all Lagerstroemia, the flowering of Natchez Crape Myrtle in the UK is hit or miss, depending on the intensity of the summer. However, the genus is so much more than its flowers, and we grow it for its architectural beauty.
The flowers are just an incidental bonus! We grow this as a standard tree rather than a multi-stem bush.
Mature height: 5-7m
