Fraxinus pennsylvanica SummitAbout this product
Fraxinus pennsylvanica Summit, commonly known as Green Ash Summit, is a hardy, medium-sized tree introduced from trials in Minnesota in 1957. This fast-growing tree is highly valued in urban settings, especially for its ability to quickly create shade. Reaching a mature height of 12 to 17 meters, it has an ovate shape that becomes rounder with age.
Its foliage turns a bright yellow in autumn, adding seasonal color to landscapes. This tree also displays yellow-green flowers in small, subtle panicles in April. Known for its resilience, it can withstand wind and is suitable for coastal areas. This tree thrives best in fertile, well-drained soil and is an excellent choice for avenues, broad streets, and parks, where it provides robust, adaptable greenery.
