About this product

First selected from a Common Ash street tree in 1952, this cultivar has been produced commercially since the 1960’s. Its symmetrical crown makes it a good choice for planting in an avenue as well as a standalone tree. It matures to be a little smaller than its parent but can still reach over 20m so should be given space in which to grow. Useful for exposed sites with good wind tolerance. Will tolerate most free draining soils and is particularly useful for chalky sites.
