American Ash, White Ash

Fraxinus americana, also known as White Ash, is a large maturing, deciduous tree capable of reaching over 20m+. 

In Spring, small clusters of purple flowers are procured just before the arrival of the foliage. 

Autumn can see its foliage change to a spectrum of colours, from yellow to purple, contrasting with the tree's silvery bark.

The tree does well in rich, damp soil that drains well. It can grow in any kind of sunlight, from full sun to shade, and in various types of soil and pH levels. It's good for providing shade in play areas and along streets.

This tree is best planted with plenty of room to allow it to reach its full potential.
