About this product

Medium-sized specimens are provided in 100-liter containers.

We grow this green-fruited fig, also known as Ficus carica Verdino, as a full-standard tree, ideal for a centrepiece in a small garden.

Figs like it hot, and their glossy, thick leaves give the tree a look of vitality. Ficus carica Verdino prefers free-draining soil and is perfectly hardy for most aspects of England.

Being a fruiting variety, there is no VAT on this tree, representing quite a saving!

Ficus carica Verdino can be pruned in winter to keep the crown nice and tidy.

Like all Figs, it may send out a few suckers by its trunk, and these can be removed at any time by secateurs as and when you see them emerge.

This small tree looks rather exotic but is tougher than you think!

Mature height: 3-5m
