About this product
INITIATE naturally stimulates root growth and activity. Barcham INITIATE is a unique formula containing concentrated pine sap extracted from cypress trees and modified using fungi to pass on all the sap's natural benefits and stimulate the rooting process in all plants.
How does it work? When INITIATE is drenched onto roots, it sticks like glue to the root surface. This stimulates the production of a hormone called auxin, typically produced in the growing points.
To balance the tree or plant, it has to produce another hormone called cytokinin, and it can only do this by rapidly producing lots of NEW roots. A fabulous product that will help your newly planted tree thrive!
It is supplied in a 250ml foil pack. Only two teaspoons are needed to mix with a 10L watering can, so one foil pack can provide numerous applications.
One application will last for 4-6 weeks in the growing season
