The young leaves of Acer pseudoplatanus Brilliantissimum has leaves that are a wonderful shell pink in the spring, hardening to light green by June.

This small beauty is an excellent street tree and for projects where space is limited. Being a cultivar of Sycamore, this tree tolerates air pollution and thrives in most soils. It is a particularly useful tree for coastal sites where it can make an effective defence against strong winds and salt-laden air.

Acer pseudoplatanus Brilliantissimum was Introduced in the early 1900s and won the Award of Garden Merit in 2002.

This tree is supplied with a full 1.8-2m clear stem and crown on top, it is quite slow growing and as such should be planted with the future in mind.
