Globosum Norway Maple
Acer platanoides GlobosumAbout this product
Acer platanoides Globosum, a ‘Lollypop’ form of its parent Norway Maple, is grafted at the top of the stem. It features yellow spring flowers and green leaves that turn golden, yellow, and red in autumn. Grafted at about 2m, it develops a broad mop head. This resilient tree tolerates various soil types, air pollution, and drought.
It is a smart tree that can be planted as a single specimen to give architectural structure to a planting scheme or planted in a run to form a deciduous stilted hedge. The latter option requires regular maintenance to maintain its shape.
Mature height: 3-7m
