The Barcham Tree Foundation

At Barcham Trees, we believe that trees have the power to transform places, bring people together, and create a lasting legacy for future generations. That’s why we are proud to introduce The Barcham Tree Foundation – a grant programme dedicated to supporting community tree planting projects across the UK.

This initiative has been established to help community groups, charities, schools and other not-for-profit organisations turn their planting ambitions into reality. Each year, we will support projects that deliver meaningful environmental and social benefits through the planting of trees.

What We Offer

For our first year, we will award grants to up to 10 projects nationwide, with each successful project receiving up to 50 trees (20L–65L) supplied by Barcham Trees. Applications are open for planting sites across mainland England, Scotland and Wales.

Beyond supplying trees, our team will work with successful applicants to help ensure the right species are selected for the site, providing expert guidance and support throughout the planning and planting process.  Applicants must have a team/the capacity to receive the trees onsite at the point of delivery perform and organise the planting themselves, with support from Barcham.

What We’re Looking For

Successful projects will:

• Deliver tangible benefits to the local community
• Create a positive environmental impact
• Demonstrate long-term sustainability and aftercare plans
• Have permission from the landowner before applying
• Applicants that are able to commit to performing and organising planting themselves.
• Commit to maintaining the trees once planted to ensure successful establishment
• Be willing to share their story through photographs, case studies and social media updates

Applications will be assessed by an independent panel, bringing together respected industry experts and members of the Barcham Trees team.
