Product details

Clerodendron trichotomum, known as the Glorytree or Peanut Butter Tree, is just about hardy enough to grow in the more sheltered and sunny sites in the UK.

Originating from China, its large textured leaves are late to emerge in spring and its wonderful white and maroon fragrant flower display doesn’t get going until September.

These are replaced by bright blue berries and a glorious autumn colour display of reds to yellows.

Clerodendron trichotomum makes a wonderful small garden tree, often in multi stem bush shape as its tips are frosted out over winter.

Mature height: 3-7m
