A hybrid derived from Sorbus torminalis and Sorbus aria this is a Dutch clone raised for its qualities to thrive within the urban environment.
A native of Portugal through to Germany, it is a worthy alternative to the more commonly used Sorbus aria clones.
Round headed and tough, this versatile tree is ideal of streets, verges or parks. White flowers are followed by red berries in the autumn.
Its leaves are grey / green and silvery grey beneath to provide a pleasing contrast in windy conditions.
