Sorbus cashmiriana is a small growing tree perfect for gardens.

This very pretty garden tree has won a string of horticultural awards over the years including the Award of Garden Merit in 2002. Introduced into the UK in the mid 1930s from its native Kashmir, it remains the daintiest of trees.

Soft pink flower clusters emerge in May and form good sized white berries by the autumn that often remain hanging on the tree well after the foliage has fallen. Finely serrated leaflets give the tree a charming effect in summer and these can turn form yellow to orange / red in the autumn. Best planted in half / dapples sun positions in lawns of borders.

Mature height: 5-7m
