A beautiful form with elegant, spreading branches.
Discovered by Abbe Delavay and introduced in 1889, this dainty beauty originates from Western China.
It makes a lovely little tree requiring little maintenance and giving much enjoyment.
The leaves are dark green and fern-like, turning a red-purple in the autumn.
Profuse berries hang in drooping clusters, dark red at first then fading to a pink-white.
Unfortunately this small tree, like Joseph Rock, is also susceptible to fire blight.
Ideal for small gardens.
