This Whitebeam is also known as Decaisneana.
This well known variety is also known as Decaisneana and won the Award of Garden Merit in 2002.
In our opinion this clone is synonymous to ‘Magnifica’ for its overall effect and thrives on most soils including chalky ones.
A tree of medium height with a broad, dense, conical crown, it is of symmetrical form.
It has notably large leaves and fruits, and is a splendid choice for parks, streets, gardens and avenues.
For further Whitebeam types, refer to Sorbus latifolia and intermedia.
Mature height: 10-15m
