A vigorous clone that is a cross between the Cork Oak and the Turkey Oak.

This rarely seen tree is thought to be a hybrid between Quercus Castanefolia and Quercus Lucombeana and is furnished with green glossy leaves that are beyond 10cm in length and 5cm across.

An interesting addition to parkland planting as this clone generally hangs onto its leaves until the spring.

It has an upright habit when young and broadens with age to develop into a large tree with a rough bark at maturity.

It thrives on most fertile soils.

Mature height: 15-20m
