A strong growing pear, grown at Barcham Trees as a full standard.

A strong growing pear, grown at Barcham as a full standard and a vigorous cropper that is particularly valued by our staff in September!

This small, rounded tree does best in a warm, sunny, sheltered position, such as a courtyard garden.

The large fruits, greenish yellow flushed with red, are juicy and have a distinctive flavour.

They are best picked while still hard and allowed to ripen in store.

The foliage turns bright red in autumn.

Mature height: 5-10m
