This Cherry was introduced from China in 1908 by Ernest Wilson.
A fast growing, but small tree of rounded form.
It has really shiny, mahogany-brown bark, and it is worth growing it for this reason alone.
It has narrow, willow-like leaves and small, white flowers, which are produced in April.
