A beautiful crab even for small gardens.

A beautiful crab for small gardens, parks and verges that is often overlooked by people favouring the more well known varieties.

The leaves of this small, oval headed tree are an eye-catching dark red and its rosy-red flowers emerge by late spring.

The autumn fruits are also red giving this clone a very long season of interest.

Like most crab apples, it thrives on most ground including heavier clay soils.
