A member of the Svelte Brunettes Group of Magnolias.

A member of the Swelte Brunettes Group of Magnolias this lovely variety won the Award of Garden Merit in 2002.

We grow it as a standard tree with an oval crown that broadens at maturity.

A superb small tree with heavily scented, rather narrow, cup shaped flowers in April.

It has pale pink petals, flushed with a deeper pink towards the base, and a cerise stripe on the back.

Ideal for sheltered urban gardens and parks.

Mature height: 5-10m
