This Flowering Ash is the perfect choice where space is limited.

Often referred to as a lollypop tree, it would not occur naturally in this form but provides a purpose for city planners when a site cannot accommodate a conventional choice.

Brought from Hungary in the early 1980s, this top worked, small tree has a fine, rounded habit, and is slow growing.

Recommended as a street and avenue tree, it is very good in most restricted areas, and has most attractive, shiny, dark green leaves.

It thrives best on drier, calcareous and sandy, loamy soils.

Mature height: 5-7m
