Genus:Cupressus
Seasons of Interest:Spring Interest
Shape:Pyramidal
Mature Size:Medium to Large (15-20m)

A selection of the Smooth Arizona Cypress.

A selection of the Smooth Arizona Cypress, this striking conifer is a native of South Eastern America.

I have seen this grown as a hedging conifer in Southern France and it positively glitters when it is filmed by a morning dew.

Mike Glover, Managing Director, Barcham Trees

This medium to large evergreen conifer forms a dense, pyramidal habit at maturity with very distinctive rich brown bark that peels in flakes.

Its deeply fragrant blue foliage is particularly attractive and its rounded cones swell in spring.

Tolerant of air pollution, it is good for urban plantings and large gardens.

It thrives on most soils.

Mature height: 15-20m
