This Deodar Cedar is most impressive for parkland and large estates.

This Deodar Cedar is most impressive for large gardens, parkland and estates.

Like many yellow flushing varieties, this lovely conifer can be used as a focal point in the landscape in the Spring with its bright yellow / gold foliage stealing the show.

Kelly Gold differs from the species in having foliage which flushes gold before hardening to a yellow green.

Like its parent it is easily identified from all the other Cedars due to its trailing leader and this large, evergreen conifer has a gently pendulous habit.

It thrives on most soils though is not happy on waterlogged ground.
