We grow this as a full standard tree with a rounded crown so it is best suited for gardens and parks.
It thrives on most soils.
The glorious display of summer leaves provide great contrast in any garden so time should be taken to carefully select its planting position to achieve greatest effect. As a rule the eye picks up on deep reds and purples first to if you place it further back in your landscape it draws the focus through your garden rather than blocking off view behind it.
Mature Height: 5-10m
