A superb Japanese maple with long lasting and unfading reddish purple leaves that turn a glorious red before they drop in autumn.

This clone won the Award of Garden merit in 2002.

Recognised as one of the best clones of its type, it also produces beautiful red fruits and is particularly hardy even in the coldest of winters.

We grow this as a full standard tree with a rounded crown so it is best suited for gardens and parks.

It thrives on most soils.
