Acer campestre 'Elsrijk' (Field Maple)
This cultivar of the Field Maple is named after the park in Amstelveen, Holland, where it was discovered.
It differs from the species in that it has a more regular, oval habit.
It thrives in rich, well drained soils, but does well in virtually any soil type, and will readily tolerate drought, soil compaction and air pollution.
A medium to large sized tree which we particularly recommend for urban and street plantings.
Mature height: 10-15m
