Ornamental Trees

The very beauty of trees is in the variability that they can be found.

Whether the trees selected are large, small, standard or multi-stemmed, their presence in a planting scheme provides an extremely beautiful focal point in the autumn time and they can be appropriately selected to contrast with the other planting present.

There are many trees that can be selected for their good autumn colour, with a few that are outstanding. The following is a list of ornamental trees that are renowned for their autumn display of colour:

• Amelanchier lamarckii

• Fraxinus ornus

• Liquidambar styraciflua Worplesdon

• Parrotia persica

This list is by no means exhaustive, there are many other ornamental trees that give a stunning autumn display.
