Fruit Trees For Sale - Edible Fruits

The following trees produce fruits that are suitable for human consumption; they are tasty too!

Barcham Trees offer an ever expanding range of edible fruit trees that are available for sale directly from the website.  Here is a selection of our favourite fruits:

  • Mespilus germanica - Medlar produces fruit that is similar to Quince in that it is only edible once it has gone through the bletting process.  This small garden tree produces creamy white flowers in the Spring followed by the fruits later on in the season.
  • Malus Cox's Orange Pippin fruit
  • Malus Cox's Orange Pippin - This tree produces apples which are small and sweet and are a favourite amongst children.
  • Malus Golden Delicious - This apple tree produces fruit that are large, juicy and bright green in colour.
  • Olea europaea - Olive trees are often overlooked in the Uk due to their obvious links with sunnier climes in Europe, but in a sunny and sheltered position they will do well and fruit in the UK too.
  • Prunus Victoria -This plum tree produces abundant fruits that are borne in late summer and is popular in the UK.
  • Malus James Grieve - This dessert apple is a great alternative to the classic Cox's Orange Pippin, being a hybrid between this and Malus Potts Seedling.  The fruit is best picked late in September for eating however can be picked earlier and stewed for use as a dessert apple.

All our Edible fruit trees for sale are Zero rated for VAT, so you get the most from your tree purchase!
