Evergreen Specimens


Evergreen trees have the distinct benefit that they remain with foliage all year round.

It is a common misconception that evergreen trees are boring and bland, however this is not necessarily the case. There are a number of evergreen species that are much more attractive than the common “Leylandi” image that is conjured up in ones mind at the mere mention “evergreen”. At Barcham we recommend the following evergreen specimens:

• Feijoa sellowiana

• Laurus nobilis

• Ligustrum lucidum Variegata

• Magnolia grandiflora

• Quercus ilex
