A tree planting ceremony took place on the 5th November with a 5 metre Barcham Pine being planted by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool. The Future Gardens Butterfly World Project is a 27 acre site comprising the UK's largest wildflower meadow designed by Ivan Hicks and 12 designer gardens chosen from over 100 desgins.  The site is interestingly overall in the shape of a butterfly.
