Instant impact Sorbus aria Lutescens planted in remembrance of the Heysel Stadium disaster in Brussels in 1985.

3 December 2009 : LCVS celebrate centenary
Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services celebrated their centenary by donating 100 trees to the City in November 2009.
A tree planting ceremony took place on the 5th November with a 5 metre Barcham Pine being planted by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool. Barcham's Managing Director, Mike Glover, attended the event and the following reception where the charity was awarded the freedom of the City of Liverpool. Phase I of the Future Gardens at Butterfly World Project was opened in June 2009 by actress Emilia Fox and Professor Dr David Bellamy.
The Future Gardens Butterfly World Project is a 27 acre site comprising the UK's largest wildflower meadow designed by Ivan Hicks and 12 designer gardens chosen from over 100 desgins. Barcham Trees supply Pyrus calleryana Chanticleer for a prestigious urban development project in the South West of England.
The project was situated at a Grade I listed site that had been sold off for development into waterside properties.
