In reaction to this phenomenon, we have reduced the numbers of Horse Chestnut that we have sourced for potting this season (for availability Autumn 2008) as we feel that people will be looking to plant other species in order to mitigate this problem. We welcome your feedback as to whether this is the right decision to make?
