Another Canadian crab developed in the 1950s.

I have mentioned before that we recommend one white, one pink and one upright apple, well this is the pink.

The autumn colour of clear yellow is an added bonus but the main reasons we rate it so highly is its resistance to pest and disease as well as its glorious floral display.

A tree of medium size, it is rather columnar when young, but the crown becomes rounded at maturity.

The leaves gradually turn from copper-red to bronze-green, and rose pink flowers are followed by numerous elongated fruits, which last well.

Rudolph is resistant to scab, and is particularly good as both a garden tree and for urban verge plantings.

Mature height: 5-7m

Our Sizes

The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.

small tree medium tree large tree instant tree
SmallMedium Large Instant
A Small Tree will be supplied in a 45L container. See product information for tree height. A Medium Tree will be supplied in a 45L or 65L container will be approximately 3 to 4 metres tall. A Large Tree will be supplied in a 85L or 100L container and will be approximately 4 to 5 metres tall. An Instant Tree will be supplied in a 150L or larger container and will be approximately 5 to 7 metres tall.

You may have noticed that there are 2 sets of pricing for each tree and tree size.

The purpose of this is to give a discounted price for people whom are buying in bulk (i.e. 10 plus trees).

This applies to all trees and you DO NOT need to buy all of the same tree for this discount to be applied (i.e. you can mix up the species and sizes)

This will work on the website as follows:

1. Begin to fill the basket of the trees you require.  They will be added to your basket originally at the higher price.

2. Once you have 9 items in your basket, upon adding the next one (to total 10 +), the pricing from then on will automatically change to the lower pricing and be adjusted so that all of your items already selected are then at the lower price.

Once an order has been placed online, you will receive notification from Barcham Tree that your order has been received and processed. For tree orders of ten trees or more, you should allow 5-10 working days from the date of order for delivery. For orders of less than 10 trees, 20 working days should be allowed for delivery. This is an approximation of a realistic lead time, yet we will of course endeavour to deliver your order to you as soon as is possible and convenient to you. For "Instant" sized tree orders, we strongly recommend that suitable machinery and professional grounds people are lined up for installation and delivery of your tree(s). The trees will be delivered on either a trailer or small lorry, with the use of articulated Lorries where the order requires and/or access allows. Delivery of the trees is to kerbside, front garden or to the nearest point where access allows, except for "Instant" sized tree orders in which machinery will be required at the point of delivery to facilitate movement to the planting position. Drivers are unable to move trees once onsite. Following notification from Barcham Trees that your order has been processed, we will contact you to liaise regarding a suitable delivery date. Deliveries are undertaken from Monday to Friday only, with the exception of Bank Holidays. In order to check the cost of delivery to your area please see our Delivery Charges .

For further information regarding delivery, please see the Terms and Conditions of order Delivery information section of the website.
